About Me

I am presently serving as the Additional Labour Commissioner (Industrial Relations), Government of Karnataka. I hold a Ph.D. from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), a Master’s degree in Women’s Studies, an M.A. in Economics, and B.A., and I am a Double Gold Medalist and First Rank holder from Bangalore University. I have been awarded several national and international fellowships. My areas of specialization include the law relating to Sexual Harassment of Women at the Workplace (PoSH), industrial relations and labour law jurisprudence, informal labour and social security, and corporate social responsibility. I am the Appellate Authority under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 for the State of Karnataka.
